Camps
A Heart Zones Coaching Camp is one-day event in which you learn and improve sport-specific skills. You'll work with expert coaches and participate in swimming, biking, and/or running workouts that simulate the event you are training for. The camp provides a learning experience with some of the best coaches in the nation who specialize in coaching athletes who are new or want to improve their performance in a particular sport. We currently have Triathlon and Cycling Camps available. (varies by area)
The Camp is designed for all ability levels.
Depending on the type of camp, the following aspects may be covered over the day:
* Swim technique
* Bike handling, maintenance, technique
* Transition practice
* Run drills to improve efficiency, economy
* Goal setting and mental skills to perform at top level
* Training plan design
* Heart rate testing and specifics of successful training by heart rate
