Train for a Sprint Triathlon with a supportive, safe group! We meet 2 x weekly as a group and you get a comprehensive, online training plan with your own log for the remaining days of the week. We meet as a group on Wednesdays (6:30-8 pm) and Saturdays (7-9 am).
The focus for this program is for the woman who "never in a million years think they will be able to complete a triathlon". If you have ever defined yourself as an athlete, but want to test yourself in a safe, structured program, this training is for you!
Our first group meeting is Tuesday, May 18 at 5:30 p.m. (location TBA). We have a lot to accomplish in this first group gathering. We will not be working out, but you should bring a change of shorts and running sneakers as we will have a physical therapists available performing complimentary lower extremity screenings. Please bring water, a heart rate monitor, if you have one, and a pen/pencil and notebook. All subsequent workouts will be Wednesdays, 6:30-8:00 p.m. and Saturdays, 7:00-9:30 a.m. At this first meeting you will receive a packet that includes group workout locations along with required equipment.
